SIX (6) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - - - Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, Women's Softball, Women's Lacrosse.

Opening Ceremonies will be held at the Aquarium in downtown Houston.  All events are going to take place in Memorial Park.  Closing ceremonies will be at the Discovery Green Park across from the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Mr. Nguyen was appointed to the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority board in October, 2003 as an appointee of the city.

An attorney with Vinson & Elkins, Mr. Nguyen's principal areas of practice are commercial and securities litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Asian-American Bar Association, and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.

Mr. Nguyen grew up in Houston and attended St. John's School and Rice University (B.A., history and art). He then earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Texas Law Review. Prior to joining V&E, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Melinda Harmon, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Nguyen was admitted to practice in Texas in 2000.
