SIX (6) NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - - - Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, Women's Softball, Women's Lacrosse.

Opening Ceremonies will be held at the Aquarium in downtown Houston.  All events are going to take place in Memorial Park.  Closing ceremonies will be at the Discovery Green Park across from the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Already acclaimed as one of the best of baseball's new breed of stadiums, the opening of Houston's new home for Major League Baseball in the spring of 2000 was a milestone in the history of the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority. It brought the Authority's first project to completion and set a standard for the other stadium projects that have followed.
